Satan/Trump 2016 Matthew 4:8-11

I know that if Trump ever reads this he would hate it. He wouldn’t hate it because of the implications but that he is getting 2nd billing.

I have talked to my conservative brothers and sisters pleading with them not to vote for Trump. I say that they don’t have to vote for Hillary. But they can’t vote for Trump.

I tell them that we can’t sell our soul to save our nation. They admit that Trump says and does things that are terrible but a Hillary presidency would be apocalyptic compared to a Trump one.

So I thought, how far would they go to prevent a Clinton presidency? Would they accept this offer?

I know that you are angry. You do not want Hillary Clinton to be president. I can assure you that she will never step foot in the White House. I will guarantee that the Supreme Court will be filled with strict constructionists. Rowe V Wade will be abolished. Gay marriage will be no more. America will be a Christian nation again. You will never fear persecution by atheist liberals.

For doing this for you. I only ask one thing. Bow before me. That’s all you have to do.

This is hyperbole but that this the way I feel. Voting for Trump because I don’t want a Clinton presidency is selling out everything that Jesus stands for. I will not do that. I don’t like Hillary Clinton, I don’t trust Hillary Clinton. But Donald Trump terrifies me.

This election is a test. Will we pass it. Our Lord was tested by Satan in the desert for 40 days. Satan offered Jesus the world if Je would only bow before him. This is what Jesus did.

8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”
