Just when I think he can’t say anything more unpresidential or more unChristian he opens his mouth. Many people are saying that he meant that 2nd amendment people should mobilize to prevent a Clinton win. What Trump said was what could happen AFTER she wins. What Trump is inferring to is a “2nd Amendment solution”. If democracy doesn’t work you use guns. Because in their interpretation of the constitution the 2nd amendment is for any individual to own a gun not for their own protection from criminals or to hunt but to protect us from tyranny.
I don’t know what worries me more. A Trump presidency or the violence that some “2nd amendment people” might use when Trump is defeated and when he will say that the election was rigged.
This is also a man who asked “if we have nuclear weapons, why don’t we use them”. The nuculer bomb is one of the wickedest tools of this fallen world. A weapon that could destroy life as we know it. He would be willing to use these weapons willy nilly.
50 national security experts say that Trump should never get the nuclear codes. He doesn’t have the temperament. He is a violent man. He joked about protesters being taken out on stretchers.
This man is the inverse of a peacemaker. He believes in might makes right. If he is attacked. He will punch back with 10 times the force.
We are Christians we are supposed to be like Christ, a peacemaker. Yes people do not like to hear the truth. People love their corruption and their sin and they will fight back against those that put light to their sin.
But we do not fight. We do not wage war the way the world does. 2 Corinthians 3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does
The thing that saddens me and angers me is that Christians are still supporting this anti-Christ. I was talking to my friends who happen to be non-believers about Rick Santorum on the Bill Maher show and I said “I know this is not the Christian thing to say, but I really wanted to crawl through my IPad and strangle him.”
My friend said that was a very Christian thing to say and that saddened me. These people and their violence and their hypocrisy is damaging the faith in untold ways.
When I use the word anti-Christ. I am not saying that Donald Trump is the anti-Chrst foretold in Revelation. What I am saying is that everything he stands for is opposite of what our Lotd stands for.
