You Raca Libtard: Matthew 5:21-22

Now first off I had a hard time deciding what the adjective and what is the noun. Libtard Raca could work just as well.

To my non Christian readers who is thinking “what the heck is a Raca?”

Raca is used in Matthew 5 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or siste will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Raca is an Aramaic word for empty headed and worthless. It was an insult that you used in Biblical times to say that you have utter contempt for whoever you are talking to.

I have subscribed to many right wing Christian Facebook pages. I thought that it would help tone my debate skills and maybe just maybe lead one of these lost souls to Christ. But the hatred that was turned my way was unfathanable. I have a YouTube channel and I have a troll that has been attacking me without mercy. Calling me names like Libtard and little coocher. I thought about googling coocher but I don’t really want to see what comes up.

We live in a time where hate is a virtue and the most creative insulter is the winner. WE ARE FOLLOWERS OF THE ONE LIVING GOD. I know screaming can be considered a troll move but I don’t care.

I am sick of the hatred and the name calling. We can disagree on issues. I disagree with the liberals on abortion and I disagree with arch conservatives on everything else. But I treat both sides with respect. I use the facts and expect the person I am talking to to counter my facts with facts that prove what I am saying is false. But what I get is nastiness.

If you have to be nasty. You have shown that your argument is weak and the only way you can defend it is with bullying tactics. I don’t believe Trump supporters are idiots. I believe that they are angry and fearful and this is the only way they have been taught how to react.

Lack of love and empathy creates this environment. But I can’t continue to debate when it is one sided and does nothing but make me want to crawl in my bed and hide myself from the world.

But I do have to say that when I stop the conversation and it is very hard to stop. I do leave with one insult. “I am going to leave this thread. I am going to kick the dust off my boots and stop throwing pearls before swine.” Matthew 7:5-6
